徒然F30 2021/2-8 Clutch judder problem with my F30
I have been suffering from clutch judder problem when cold for the last several months. In the morning, it doesn’t happen. Only after driving good kilometers, my car starts juddering, which is pretty annoying. I tried to avoid juddering by driving very very carefully, but it did not help. Every time I drive my car, I have this problem, I mean, 100% with no exception. Something should be done as soon as possible.
Because I was pretty busy at which time, I just brought my car to a local dealership and asked them to take care of this problem. I know two great guys there, one in the sales department, another in the mechanic section. After a few days, they came to a conclusion. The mechanic guy said, he did not find any juddering with my car. However, he recommended me to change clutch disc and some other parts to solve "my" problem. He also told me, like, some guys need to change clutch disc only after 20000kilometers, others would change it after 30000kilometers. I did not understand this, at all. This is BMW. One of the best cars in the world, OK? The clutch disc should work much much longer, right? I was curious how come my trusty mechanic said something like this and I decided to look into this issue deeper. There should be something hidden.
